   Hey! Thanks for the congrats on the PRBB. I completely understand how you feel. My fiance is in school and definitely couldn't afford a ring. Luckily I knew that I would be getting my grandmother's engagement ring and the fact that he went through (i'm sure he jumped through burning hoops) to get the ring and propose meant so much to me. He didn't understand about needing the proposal and the ring but it seriously made a world of difference in my mind set and my own personal anxiety issues! It was 6 years of dating, so I'm glad but the wedding won't be for a while!
   
   We are long distance for the next 2 years so I do have to say having the ring helps a lot. Good luck!

   In any case......thanks for emailing me! Actually your email about you and your finance being long distance is timely. I just got off of the phone with my boyfriend discussing him going away. It's only for 4 months, he leaves in 2 1/2 weeks. I seem to be very upset about it lately, the last 3 or 4 days, and I feel silly in a way. I mean, he is only going away for 4 months, and I feel silly for getting so upset. But he is such a permanent fixture in my life, I just don't know what I'm going to do here without him. He does have another work term next winter too, so he will probably be going then as well.
   
   Anyways, your email made me feel better somehow about it all! Thanks again, and congratulations again!!!
